Connecting Google Ads to Trade2Base

Link your Google Ads account to Trade2Base so you can track which campaigns and keywords are generating real booked jobs — not just clicks.

How to connect Google Ads

  1. 1Go to Settings > Integrations > Google Ads in the Trade2Base dashboard and click “Connect Google Ads”.
  2. 2Sign in with the Google account that manages your Google Ads account and grant Trade2Base read access to your campaign data.
  3. 3Select the Google Ads account you want to connect (if you manage multiple accounts or have an MCC) and click Confirm.
  4. 4Trade2Base will import your campaign list. Map each campaign to a Lead Source in Trade2Base — this allows the system to match click data to booked jobs via your website tracking code.
  5. 5Install the Trade2Base tracking snippet on your website (provided in Settings > Website Tracking). This snippet captures which ad click or search brought a customer to your site and passes it through to the job record when they enquire.
Google Local Services Ads

Google Local Services Ads (LSA) are connected separately from Google Ads. In Trade2Base, go to Settings > Integrations > Google Local Services to connect your LSA account. LSA shows verified job leads, not just clicks.

Does Trade2Base support Google Local Services Ads?

Yes. Google Local Services Ads connect via a separate integration at Settings > Integrations > Google Local Services. Once connected, verified LSA leads appear in your Trade2Base inbox with the source tagged automatically.

Can I track cost-per-booked-job from Google Ads?

Yes. Once your campaigns are mapped to Lead Sources and the tracking snippet is installed, the Campaign ROI report shows your ad spend against the revenue generated from booked jobs attributed to each campaign.

What data does Trade2Base pull from Google Ads?

Trade2Base imports your campaign list, ad group names and spend data. It does not pull individual ad creative or audience targeting settings — only the data needed to match clicks to booked jobs.

Can I see which keywords generate booked jobs?

Yes. When the Trade2Base tracking snippet is installed on your website, keyword-level data is passed through from Google Ads clicks. You can see keyword attribution in the Campaign ROI report under each campaign.
