Exporting All Data Before Cancellation
Your data belongs to you. Before cancelling Trade2Base, export everything you need — customers, jobs, quotes, invoices, and documents.
After your subscription ends, your account enters a 30-day read-only period. During this time you can still log in and export data. After 30 days, the account is archived and access is removed.
What you can export
- Customers — full contact list as a CSV file including all addresses, phone numbers and email addresses.
- Jobs — all jobs with status, dates, assigned engineer, job notes and linked records.
- Quotes — all quotes including line items, prices and approval status.
- Invoices — all invoices with amounts, payment status and dates.
- Expenses — expense records with amounts, categories and receipt references.
- Documents & certificates — uploaded files (Gas Safe certs, EICRs, photos) are available to download individually from each job or in bulk via Settings.
How to export your data
- Go to Settings → Account → Data & privacy.
- Click Export all data. Trade2Base will prepare a ZIP file containing CSV exports of all your records.
- You'll receive an email when the export is ready (usually within a few minutes for most accounts).
- Download the ZIP and store it somewhere safe — your hard drive, Google Drive or Dropbox.
Exporting specific sections
You can also export individual sections without waiting for a full data export:
- Customers → Customers page → Export CSV button in the top right.
- Invoices → Invoices page → Export → choose date range.
- Jobs → Jobs page → filter to the records you want → Export.
Cancelling your subscription
Once you've exported your data, go to Settings → Billing → Manage subscription and select Cancel subscription. You'll keep access until the end of your current billing period, then enter the 30-day read-only window.
If you're cancelling because something isn't working, please contact our support team first — we'd love the chance to fix it.
If you've paid for a plan you haven't used, contact us within 14 days of your charge for a full refund — no questions asked.
