Sending a Stripe Payment Link with an Invoice

Trade2Base can automatically include a Stripe payment link on every invoice you send. Customers click the link, pay by card, and the invoice is marked as paid instantly — no chasing required.

How to include a Stripe payment link on an invoice

1
Open an invoice in Draft or Sent status → click "Payment options"

Open the invoice from the Invoices section. Click the "Payment options" button in the invoice editor toolbar.

2
Toggle "Include Stripe payment link" on

Switch the toggle on. A unique Stripe payment URL is generated for this invoice and embedded in the invoice email and PDF automatically.

3
Send the invoice via email, WhatsApp or customer portal

Send the invoice using your preferred channel. The payment link appears as a prominent button in the email and as a URL in the PDF footer.

4
When the customer pays, the invoice is automatically marked as paid

Stripe processes the payment and notifies Trade2Base instantly. The invoice status changes to Paid, a receipt is sent to the customer, and you receive a Stripe payout to your bank account.

5
You can also copy the payment link manually and share it in any message

Click "Copy payment link" to copy the URL to your clipboard. Paste it into a WhatsApp message, text, or email if you need to send it outside of the standard invoice flow.

Faster payments: Invoices with Stripe payment links are paid an average of 4 days faster than invoices sent without a payment option.
