Where reviews appear in Trade2Base
Go to Reviews in the sidebar and open the Received tab. Once your Google Business Profile is connected, Trade2Base imports your reviews automatically and displays them here with star rating, reviewer name, date, and the full review text.
Each review card shows a Replied badge if you have already responded, or a yellow Awaiting reply badge if you have not. Reviews are sorted newest first by default.
Using AI Suggest Reply
Click on any review card in the Received tab. The review expands to show the full text and a reply panel below it.
Trade2Base reads the review text and generates a draft reply in about two seconds. The draft matches the tone of the review — warmer and more enthusiastic for five-star reviews, calm and constructive for lower ratings.
The AI writes in a friendly, professional tone that sounds like a real tradesperson, not a corporate script. Check that any specific details mentioned in the review are addressed correctly.
The reply text is fully editable. You can add a personal touch, mention the specific job type (“great to get your heating sorted before winter”), or remove anything that feels off.
Click "Copy reply", then open your Google Business Profile in a new tab, find the review, and paste your reply. Trade2Base marks the review as Replied once you confirm.
Why responding to reviews matters for Google ranking
Google's local search algorithm considers review response rate and recency as positive ranking signals. Businesses that respond to reviews consistently tend to rank higher in Google Maps results for local searches like “plumber near me”.
Responding also builds trust with prospective customers who read reviews before booking. Seeing that you take the time to reply — even to positive reviews — shows professionalism and responsiveness.
Tips for great replies
Aim to reply to every new review within 48 hours. Trade2Base sends you an in-app notification whenever a new review is imported so you never miss one.
