Replying to Reviews with AI

Where reviews appear in Trade2Base

Go to Reviews in the sidebar and open the Received tab. Once your Google Business Profile is connected, Trade2Base imports your reviews automatically and displays them here with star rating, reviewer name, date, and the full review text.

Each review card shows a Replied badge if you have already responded, or a yellow Awaiting reply badge if you have not. Reviews are sorted newest first by default.

Using AI Suggest Reply

Open a review

Click on any review card in the Received tab. The review expands to show the full text and a reply panel below it.

Click "AI Suggest Reply"

Trade2Base reads the review text and generates a draft reply in about two seconds. The draft matches the tone of the review — warmer and more enthusiastic for five-star reviews, calm and constructive for lower ratings.

Read the draft carefully

The AI writes in a friendly, professional tone that sounds like a real tradesperson, not a corporate script. Check that any specific details mentioned in the review are addressed correctly.

Edit if needed

The reply text is fully editable. You can add a personal touch, mention the specific job type (“great to get your heating sorted before winter”), or remove anything that feels off.

Copy and post to Google Business Profile

Click "Copy reply", then open your Google Business Profile in a new tab, find the review, and paste your reply. Trade2Base marks the review as Replied once you confirm.

Tips for great replies

Reply within 48 hours
